Melco Designs is an interior design studio based in Sydney’s Inner West, specialising in kitchens, bathrooms, custom joinery and home renovations.

Founded by Melanie Lozano, Melco Designs helps homeowners create spaces that are both beautiful and practical, with a focus on thoughtful design and everyday living.

I work with homeowners who want a home that not only looks beautiful, but functions well for everyday life. Whether you’re renovating a kitchen, updating a bathroom or transforming your entire home, my goal is to create interiors that feel personal, practical and designed to stand the test of time.

Originally from Peru, I have called Sydney home for over 20 years. After a successful career in insurance, extensive travel through South America and Europe inspired me to pursue a career in interior design. I have now spent more than 12 years helping clients navigate renovations and create homes they genuinely enjoy living in.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each project. I take the time to understand how you live, what matters to you and how your home can better support your lifestyle. I believe the best interiors are not driven by trends, but by thoughtful design decisions that reflect the people who live there.

Inspired by nature, natural light, texture, colour and timeless materials, I enjoy creating homes with warmth and personality. I love blending classic and contemporary elements to create spaces that feel inviting, comfortable and designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
